The BENU Hungarian Cup Final was supposed to be held this week, but the Hungarian Water Polo Federation postponed it after FTC Waterpolo had let them know that four (4) of their players tested positive for COVID-19. This means that some members and coaches are in quarantine and are under control. The players are fine and don’t show signs of symptoms. The club is in touch with the Office of the Chief Medical Officer.
FTC was supposed to play against Vasas in the semi-finals this afternoon, and in the other group, the OSC-Szolnok match got canceled.
The final was planned to be tomorrow, on Thursday with remembering Tibor Benedek, 3-time Olympic champion who passed away in June.
