Group A:

AVUS – Ferencváros 6-17 (2-5, 1-4, 2-3, 1-5)

The home team went up 1-0 and 2-1, but the reigning champion scored 7 in a row on the way to an easy victory. Jansik and Younger scored four each for the green-whites.

Pécs – Eger 4-13 (1-2, 0-5, 1-4, 2-2)

Pécs scored the first goal but Eger went on a 10-goal run to secure an easy win.

KSI – Honvéd 5-14 (0-2, 2-3, 2-6, 1-3)

Honvéd started the game on fire with a 3-0 lead and had another great run in the third quarter to beat pointless KSI. Ádám Manhercz scored four times for the road team.

BVSC – Szentes 9-4 (2-1, 1-1, 3-1, 3-1)

This was a low-scoring effort and after 4-3, BVSC scored five on a row. Várnai was their top scorer with three.

Kaposvár – Szolnok 4-12 (2-2, 1-2, 0-0, 1-8)

UVSE – Miskolc 5-16 (1-4, 3-6, 1-3, 0-3)
